The Community Concert Hall
Fort Lewis is on the mesa just above the town of Durango and the Gable House Bed & Breakfast. Featuring the most seats and the largest events in town, the Community Concert Hall is the best place to see live performances from orchestras, famous song writers, touring artists and the Music in the Mountains concert series. The Community Concert Hall is close to the Gable House, but if you are attending an evening event you will want to drive or get a ride - which will take less than five minutes.
The Durango Arts Center
The Durango Arts Center features one of the the best theaters in town, and when you stay at the Gable House your comfortable bedroom is only a few blocks away from the Durango Arts Center. You can visit the art gallery or take in a show at the Durango Arts Center with everything from ragtime & jazz to the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

There's all sorts of art in Durango, Colorado and the San Juan Circus is the definition of art and athletics. You can drop into a class while visiting Durango, or you can catch a live performance with the stars of the San Juan Circus while staying at the Gable House.
