Durango Farmers Market

  • Address: 259 W 9th St, Durango CO (TPK Bank parking lot)
  • Hours: Saturday 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. (2nd week of May to last Sat of October)
  • Distance from us: 0.5 miles

Visiting the Durango Farmers Market is a fantastic way to see what our town has to offer. The market is a long standing tradition where local farmers, artisans, musicians, and more come together to share their goods and crafts. All food items at this open air market are fresh and grown by the locals themselves. You’ll find that each vendor brings a sincere passion for what they do and are always open to questions.

While many vendors can take cards and cash, not all do. Fortunately, the managers of the Market have created an ingenious system called “Market Bucks”. Visitors who don’t have cash can purchase the Market Bucks with no additional charges to be able to use at any vendor in the market. The Market also offers a similar system with SNAP coupons and DUFB vouchers.

  • Toh-Atin Gallery: Native American and Southwest artwork, including jewelry and pottery
  • Sorrel Sky Gallery: Southwestern art and jewelry that offers educational and interior consultation services
  • Scenic Aperture: Nature photography taken by a local photographer that also offers classes and workshops
  • Karyn Gabaldon Fine Arts: Fine arts gallery that features acrylic paintings, as well as glass, pottery, and sculptures.
